Bio
Ms. Lipsey is an award-winning artist, art educator, author and illustrator. Jennifer moved to Asheville in 1995 with a desire to put down roots in a place she truly wanted to live and make art in.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts, with honors and as an Undergraduate Research Scholar, from the University of North Carolina Asheville in 2001 and her Master of Fine Arts degree from Western Carolina University in 2006. Jennifer has shown and sold her artwork throughout the Southeast and has taught children and adults for the last nine years. She is also the author and illustrator of seven children's art books in the My Very Favorite Art Book series, sold worldwide.
Jennifer continues to happily live in Asheville with her husband, two children, a dog and a bird.
